What’s Slick Unknown? Think Meow Wolf!
Currently in Santa Fe, N.M., and soon to come to Denver, Colo., Meow Wolf creates immersive and interactive experiences that transport audiences of all ages into fantastic realms of story and exploration. This includes art installations, video, music production, and extended reality content.
At Colorado Academy, the Performance Innovations class, taught by Steve Scherer and Sean Gallop, decided to create its own version of Meow Wolf. Much like the original, CA’s “Slick Unknown” is an experience in art, technology, and music.
With the approval of Head of School Mike Davis, students took over the unused House #1 on campus and started creating.
Each student chose an empty room, decided on a socially relevant cause, and designed the room around that idea.
Students were all required to have an element of art, music, and technology in their projects.
The result was a trip into a different time, space, and experience!
