This week’s blog is a chance for me to offer sincere thanks to everyone who supported CA Gives Day on Thursday. These gifts to The CA Fund benefit every student at Colorado Academy. Tuition does not cover the full cost of a CA education, and those in the CA community who give to The CA Fund help provide financial support to every student and every program at CA.
The CA Fund allows us to offer innovative programs like Interim and REDI Lab and to provide maker spaces in every division. It ensures that athletic teams have proper equipment and that art studios are full of creative materials. The CA Fund helps subsidize our financial aid program. It also helps us to provide competitive salaries for teachers, and this is especially helpful at a time when more and more teachers are leaving the profession.
Simply put, a gift to The CA Fund is a vital investment in a CA education. We all have philanthropic priorities for our families. My priority is CA because I believe so strongly in the mission of this school. I see the impact our teachers have on our students every day. I see our students succeeding as they pursue academic, athletic, and artistic interests.
Donations to The CA Fund say so much more than the financial contribution. They say we are building a community that we hope will remain connected to CA for decades to come. They show that we are proud of the accomplishments of our children and grandchildren and value the road to success that a CA education offers. They celebrate that CA is a national leader in education that creates opportunities for students to find lifelong passions and interests.

A convenient way to double your impact is to check for a matching gift from your place of employment. Each CA Fund donation form includes a search option near the bottom of the form to see if your employer will match your gift. CA appreciates this extra effort as it has a big impact on total giving.
