Enjoy a Telluride experience for six people, featuring VIP passes to the 27th annual Telluride Blues and Brews Festival

Support financial aid through Lovefest auctions

Colorado Academy is in full spring mode—the final trimester is in full swing, break is behind us, and we are looking ahead to end-of-year events. This includes the annual auction or concert, which this year is combined and online. Lovefest will bring together the CA community, and we hope you will make plans to join us from the comfort of your home on Thursday, April 22, 2021.

The Lovefest committee has planned a fun, FREE event, featuring Colorado’s own Nathaniel Rateliff. The concert/fundraiser strengthens CA’s commitment to advancing opportunities for more students to experience what we all know and love about CA. The school relies on the annual spring event to help raise more than $4 million in need-based financial aid, allowing CA to help 19 percent of the school’s student population cover tuition costs.

Lovefest offers great engagement opportunities. We hope you will consider becoming a Lovefest Friend or Benefactor or supporting the event with a cash donation, and you can also be a part of the fun through the silent and live auctions. Given the virtual nature of this year’s event, both auctions will be offered online, opening on Monday, April 19, 2021. That means that everyone near and far can bid on the fantastic items!

Amazing experiences up for bid in the virtual live auction

CA’s annual spring fundraising events are known for once-in-a-lifetime experiences as part of the live auction, and this year is no different! With Lovefest 2021, you will have the chance to bid on amazing packages in the virtual live auction, including:

Not-to-be-missed silent auction items

The online silent auction will offer a plethora of packages and items at a variety of price points, with bidding opening on Monday, April 19. Here is a preview of what you will see in the silent auction:

  • CA favorites like reserved parking, bus service for a year, and Middle School Principal for a day
  • Teacher experiences, including after-school hangouts, hikes, and even skiing with Dr. Davis
  • Group outings, such as a tour of the Museum of Contemporary Art followed by dinner at BRUTØ; a sculpture tour at Craig Ponzio’s home in Evergreen; and premier seating for eight at Nathaniel Rateliff’s Red Rocks concert this summer (including VIP parking and a backstage tour!)
  • Unique experiences, like a DAE GEE Korean BBQ dinner for 20 at your home; an on-campus bee-keeping workshop or bird-watching outing; a stay at the safari-inspired glamping destination Under Canvas Yellowstone, paired with an annual National Parks Pass; and a private dinner at Uchi with a special tasting of Sunday’s Whisky, Made in Japan

Create memories together!

All of the live auction packages and many of the silent auction packages are designed for a group of people. So start talking to friends and family now about going in together for one of the packages! We are happy to split the cost of the package between multiple families after the bidding is finalized, but note that one person will need to place the bids during the online silent and live auctions. Thank you for following all current COVID-19 local and state health protocols at the time of your event.
