Support financial aid through CA Concert auctions

2022 has been a memorable year at Colorado Academy, with some of the most anticipated highlights yet to come—including the CA Concert. On Saturday, April 23, 2022, the beloved biennial CA Concert returns—in person, with two amazing acts. We hope to see you there for what promises to be an unforgettable night of live music for an important cause. Special thanks to Aurum Home Technology for sponsoring the Concert!

The CA Concert committee has planned a fun event, featuring Isaac Slade of The Fray and Rodrigo y Gabriela. The concert/fundraiser strengthens CA’s commitment to advancing opportunities for more students to experience what we all know and love about CA. The school relies on the annual spring event to help raise more than $4 million in need-based financial aid, allowing CA to help families cover tuition costs.

We hope you will consider attending the event, but you also can support the CA Concert with a cash donation or be a part of the fun through the silent and live auctions. The silent auction will be offered online, opening on Monday, April 18, 2022. That means that everyone near and far can bid on the fantastic items! The live auction will take place at the April 23 Concert prior to Isaac Slade’s performance. Special thanks to those making our auction items possible.

All of the live auction packages and many of the silent auction packages are designed for friends to go in together as a group. We are happy to split the cost of the package among multiple families after the bidding is finalized, but note that one person will need to place the bids during the online silent and live auctions.

How the Auctions Work

The silent auction will open on the CA Concert website on Monday, April 18. That day, you will receive an email inviting you to register for the silent auction. If you have already made a gift to the Concert online (by purchasing a ticket or Benefactor package or making a donation), you are already registered for the silent auction and will receive an email with your bidder number when the auction opens. Registering for the silent auction will also enter you in the CA Concert drawing, giving you a chance to win early conference sign-up, a DAE GEE Korean BBQ basket, a hike with Dr. Davis, and tickets to Nathaniel Rateliff at Red Rocks.

The live auction will take place at the April 23 Concert before Isaac Slade’s performance. If you will not be in attendance at the event but would like to bid on any of the packages in the live auction, you can contact Gravely Wilson to discuss options for bidding.
