In the College Counseling Office, we race to the finish line each spring as Colorado Academy Seniors make final college decisions and prepare for graduation festivities.

This year’s Senior Celebration tradition had a new spin, initiated by Co-Presidents Mac Behrhorst and Aly Gallagher and hosted by them in the Maloy Courtyard instead of the Campus Center patio.

The event included a gratitude open mic where students shared fond memories, thanked advisors, and expressed their appreciation for each other.

There was even a surprise prom-posal from Dee Dennis to Monika Williams (she said yes!). After a final water balloon fight in the sun, Seniors said the first of many farewells.

Seniors meet to create their “stars” for the college map.

The College Office also celebrated Seniors once more on their last day of school with crafts and cookies, inviting students to decorate their college stars for the office’s map. Treats, creativity, and positive energy flowed.
