At Colorado Academy, we strive to be an inclusive community.
There are particular efforts made throughout the year to intentionally bring together parents and families. We are lucky to have Sarah Wright, Director of Inclusivity, leading the charge for students and families. Stay tuned to hear about upcoming ways to get involved in initiatives that are being planned.
Another way to see the many cultures and customs celebrated by CA families is just a few weeks away. The Taste of CA: A Celebration of Cultures will be held on Thursday, February 6, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This free, family event is one of the most entertaining and fun evenings of the year! Students, parents, faculty, and staff share food, celebrate many of our various cultures and customs, and enjoy entertainment from around the world. Feel free to bring your family’s favorite dish (homemade or restaurant made), decorate a table, or maybe wear a traditional costume, and join the celebration.
You can sign up here, which lets the committee know how many people to expect. The Campus Center will be transformed, and it is a wonderful way to celebrate the rich culture within our community. A huge thank you to Meghan Geisler and Christina Joymon and committee for the countless hours spent planning and preparing for this all-school community event. This is an evening you won’t want to miss—and bring the whole family.
Hope to see you there!
