The Class of 2018 launched their celebration of commencement with a formal dinner under a tent on the Colorado Academy campus. All 100 members of the class started the evening with the traditional class photograph in front of Welborn House.
But the dinner may be best remembered for the violent thunderstorm that brought wind gusts, lightning, thunder, and a downpour. Ultimately, guests sought safe harbor in CA buildings, many of them carrying dessert off into the night with them.
