by Natalie Ralston ’99, Director of The CA Fund
Our third annual CA Gives Day in support of The CA Fund is on Wednesday, November 6, and we hope that all members of the CA community will participate in this one-day effort.
Last year, we raised nearly $600,000 from 400 donors as part of our CA Gives Day campaign, and we hope to exceed those extraordinary totals this year! Remember, The CA Fund provides critical resources for Colorado Academy’s priorities, and your tax-deductible gift will impact all current CA students during this 2019-2020 school year.
Meet the challenge
As part of our 2019 effort, a current CA family has issued a challenge to the CA community: If 400 donors make a gift or pledge in conjunction with CA Gives Day, the school will receive $50,000 in support of The CA Fund. Please help us unlock this generous challenge gift.
New this year
This year we are unveiling a dedicated CA Gives Day website, which will provide live updates on how much we have raised and how many donors have participated. Through this website we will also share videos from members across the CA community about why they support The CA Fund, so don’t miss hearing from alumni, parents, trustees, students, grandparents, and faculty!
Why support The CA Fund?
The CA Fund, our annual giving program, is the school’s primary philanthropic effort. Tuition only covers approximately 90 percent of a CA education, and we rely on The CA Fund and endowment returns to help bridge the gap.
Your support of The CA Fund helps to provide all of the experiences that make a CA education exceptional, and every gift, no matter the size, truly makes a difference.
Thank you!
We realize that members of the CA community are invited to support many school initiatives, and we are grateful for the generosity of so many parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty, staff, and friends. Thank you for your consideration, and thank you for your support of The CA Fund!
