Applications for Alumni Board Members Now Open

The Alumni Board is made up of 21-24 members who attended Colorado Academy, Colorado Military School, or Colorado Military Academy, graduates or non-graduates. The Alumni Board administers the activities of the Colorado Academy Alumni Association and upholds its Bylaws and Mission Statement. The group helps plan alumni events, raises funds for the Alumni annual campaign, and represents CA and the Alumni Association in the community.

Alumni Board members are elected in May to a three-year term, commencing on the first day of July following their election. No board member may serve more than two consecutive three-year terms.

Alumni Board members are required to attend a minimum of three of the five Board meetings per year (usually held on a Thursday evening during the school year, at CA), attend Alumni Association-sponsored events (like the Skate Party, Giant Relay Day, etc.), help further the Alumni CA Fund (annual campaign), and volunteer their time and talent to the Alumni Association. Board members are also asked to solicit alumni major donors for a contribution to the CA Fund.

Alums who are interested in serving on the Alumni Board should contact a current Alumni Board member, Board President Zach Tucker (zach.c.tucker@gmail.com), or the Alumni Director (Sue Burleigh sue.burleigh@coloradoacademy.org) to express their willingness to serve. We encourage participation from a wide range of decades. Is your decade represented?
