But if you live far from Denver and would like to connect with your fellow Colorado Academy alumni in person, CA has the solution. It’s the Thanksgiving Break Happy Hour! Held in Denver every year, it’s an opportunity for alumni visiting the city during the holidays to join local alumni for an informal social get-together.
This year, the CA Alumni Association Board hosted the ninth annual Thanksgiving Break Happy Hour at Ace in Uptown on the Friday following Thanksgiving. Alumni enjoyed appetizers and an on-the-spot ping pong tournament.
The first Thanksgiving Break Happy Hour in 2010 was the brainchild of Aaron Goldhamer ’99. Next November will mark the tenth anniversary of this gathering. So forget Facebook and email for one great evening, mark your calendars, and enjoy your fellow alumni in person on Friday, November 29, 2019!
