In December, Colorado Academy‘s Raether Library was transformed into a buzzing extravaganza of robots, drones, and virtual reality at the school’s Computer Science Festival. Kids of all ages were invited to experience a variety of interactive activities at stations set up throughout the building. Teachers from the Science, Computer Science, Engineering & Design; and Technology departments, as well as tech-savvy Upper School students, helped attendees learn new coding, circuit, and electronic skills. Mini workshops provided hands-on training in Osmo, littleBits, Arduinos and JavaScript. There was no shortage of new activities to explore. All that, and pizza too!
