First-Ever Combined Athletics Banquet Celebrates Fall 2024 Teams

On November 17, 2024, Colorado Academy student-athletes, families, coaches, and fans packed the Athletic Center’s Field House for a festive celebration of CA’s fall sports teams. Over 500 guests attended the first-ever combined Fall Athletics Banquet, which recognized those Mustangs who received league or state distinctions during the fall sports season. Smaller get-togethers were held afterwards for each CA team, during which competitors received team-specific awards and viewed slideshows and videos from the fall.

To kick off the banquet, which featured a full luncheon menu catered by Hippy Chicks, Athletic Director Jon Hill said, “I am excited that we now get to share in the recognition of many of our athletes as a community while still providing the opportunity for each program to recognize its athletes, maintain unique traditions, and possibly create new ones.”

Hill praised CA’s coaches, Athletic Department staff, and many others who assist student-athletes who, he said, “are the reason why we are here. Thank you to all the athletes for your hard work and dedication this season! Your commitment to off-season training, in-season training, competing, and representing your program and CA has been inspiring.”
