Meet Your Alumni Board for 2024-2025

Chris Bailey ’02 attended CA for 14 years. His sister Amber Bailey graduated in the Class of 1988. Chris attended CU Boulder for undergrad and DU for law school. Chris currently is Managing Director of Project Finance at DXD.Capital, a national self-storage investment firm with offices in Littleton, Colo. Chris is currently celebrating the 26th consecutive year of a flat and unreliable golf swing first adopted in 1998 during his inaugural appearance on the CA golf team.

Adam Boscoe ’01 attended CA for 12 years. Adam graduated undergrad from Northwestern University and also completed master’s degrees at Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires and UC Berkeley. He has worked in technology roles across various industries since graduating, including cleantech, satellites, geospatial software, and government technologies. Adam is currently Head of Corporate Development at Granicus, the leading global provider of citizen engagement software. Adam and Natalie Boscoe just celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary and have two kids, Stella (11) and Leo (6), and a loveable goldendoodle named Mac.

Andrew Bourke ’04 attended CA for high school prior to attending the University of Denver. At DU he earned a BSBA in Finance and Marketing and played lacrosse for the Pioneers. Upon graduating, Andrew lived in Tanzania, Africa, Jackson Hole, and New York City before landing back in Denver, where he lives with his fiancé, Jessica. Currently, he is the Co-Founder and President of Tenayo Foods, a national Hispanic food brand. In his spare time, you can find him on the river, in the mountains, or hacking away on a golf course.

Caroline Cramer ’11 is a CA lifer and attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, graduating with a BS in Business Administration and an MS in Accounting. After stints in both public accounting and corporate FP&A, she joined the sales team at Planful in 2024. Caroline resides in Denver with her wife, Amy, and spunky Shiba Inu, Meeko, and is best described as an avid golfer, whiskey collector, film enthusiast, and sports fanatic. Go Broncos!

Nick DePetro ’04 attended CA for Grades 5 through 12. Nick graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in English, fulfilling his senior year “most likely” which was “to overanalyze a Dr. Seuss book.” After a year off working in a ski shop in Boulder, Nick earned his law degree from Creighton University School of Law. During law school, Nick met his wife, Laura, and they moved back to Denver in 2014. They welcomed their daughter Samantha in 2020. Nick is an Assistant Attorney General in the Colorado Attorney General’s Office working in the Revenue & Regulatory Law section. Nick spends time with his family, plays golf and pickleball (both poorly), runs along the Highline Canal, and tries—with a nearly zero percent success rate—to read the weekend print edition of the newspaper with a hot cup of coffee, as parenting allows.

Julia Volkel Emerson ’94 attended CA, followed by her time at CU Boulder. Julia pursued her
passion in interior design to work on projects in Aspen and NYC before returning to Denver to
start her own firm, Völkel Design. In addition to her career, Julia is very involved in CA with her three children attending the school—Fletcher (12th), Charlotte (9th), and Remy (8th). You also will
catch Julia out on the turf coaching CA Middle Schoolers in Field Hockey. Go Mustangs!

Nick Fuselier ’16 attended CA from Ninth to Twelfth Grade and is a second generation CA graduate
following his father, Chris Fuselier ’82. After his time at CA, Nick headed to Minnesota to play
soccer for Macalester College. Nick is working at Adobe in sales and business development to
support strategic high tech and manufacturing customers. He is happy to be back in Denver
surrounded by many CA friends.

Sarah Goodyear ’06 attended CA from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, after which she got a degree in organizational development and corporate strategy from Vanderbilt University. After graduation, Sarah worked in Washington, D.C., for four years, before returning to Vanderbilt to get her MBA. Sarah currently lives in Denver and works at Amazon in Product Development. Outside of work, Sarah likes to play golf and tennis, spend time with her nieces and nephews, and most recently took up pickleball! 

Isabel Gary Harper ’09 graduated from Colorado College in 2013 with a major in Environmental Science and minor in Education. She then earned an MS in Geology and Geological Engineering at Colorado School of Mines in 2016. Isabel began her career in the oil and gas industry as an Exploration Geologist for EOG Resources in Midland, Texas, and is now back in Denver doing the same work for Centennial Resource Development. Isabel is an avid outdoor person and spends her free time fishing, skiing, and traveling with her husband, John, or bird hunting with their two English Setters. Isabel and John are joyously awaiting their first child in December.

Marcus King-Stockton ’04 attended CA from Grades 8-12. He played collegiate basketball at CU Boulder from 2004-2008 and graduated with a degree in Political Science. He met his wife, Sarah Brill ’02, at CA. They now have a son, Zaiyan, a dog, Mayhem, and a hedgehog, Denzel. They live in Park Hill. Marcus enjoys spending time with his family, training and coaching basketball, and cooking. Marcus currently works as a Financial Advisor at Charles Schwab.

Natalie Proffitt Lesinski ’09 is a CA lifer, attending from preschool all the way through high school. She then graduated from the University of Denver with a BS in Biology along with minors in Chemistry and Business Administration. Natalie went on to the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine to graduate with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Currently, she is loving all the snuggles with her brand-new baby girl Annabelle, toddler Kuba, and husband James as she takes in this special time with family. Natalie will be returning to work as a dentist at Colorado Family Dentistry after her maternity leave.

David Lightstone ’06 attended CA from First Grade through high school. After CA, David received degrees in political science and legal studies from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Following graduation, David moved to New York City where he earned his JD from New York Law School and worked as an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison. David moved back to Denver in 2017 with his wife, Rachel, where he currently works as a lawyer at Partners Group. David and Rachel have two children, Cooper and Reid. When they have some free time, the family enjoys traveling, spending time in the mountains, and going to sporting events.

Peter Macartney ’10 attended CA from Fifth through Twelfth Grade. After CA, he attended Syracuse University, where he studied Finance and Accounting and played lacrosse for the school. He then worked in finance in New York before earning his MBA from Columbia University. Peter now lives in Denver with his wife Jenna and two children, Miller (3) and Tucker (1), and works at Denver-based private equity firm KSL Capital Partners.

Brian Pushchak ’04 attended CA for Grades 1-12. While at CA, Brian missed valuable opportunities for daily Golf instruction, opting instead for injuries in both Tennis and Lacrosse. Brian went on to graduate from the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he earned his undergraduate and law degrees. He has been married to Christy Pushchak for 12 years, lives in Denver, has two dogs, and manages his personal injury law firm in Cherry Creek. Brian’s family enjoys golfing, traveling, hiking, and skiing.

Natalie Newcom Ralston ’99 is a CA lifer. As a student, she enjoyed singing and musical theater, and she played Tennis and Field Hockey. She received a BA in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. Natalie is currently the Director of Development for the Colorado Children’s Chorale. She was previously CA’s Director of The CA Fund and Associate Director of Advancement, and she has held various fundraising and engagement roles at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and Buckingham, Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge, Mass. Natalie and her husband have two children who are CA Lower Schoolers, and Natalie is active in the CA Parent Association, currently serving as Co-Vice President of the Lower School. Together, Natalie and her family enjoy camping, puzzles, biking, reading, hiking, traveling, and family dance parties. Natalie is delighted to continue to serve and support CA as a member of the Alumni Board.

Abel Ramirez ’16 attended CA for Grades 9-12 and continued his education at Bates College, graduating with a double major in Rhetoric and Spanish. He then worked at Accenture on a project for a large social media company as a Senior Analyst, where he managed a team of Digital Marketing Account Associates. He has now returned to CA as the Assistant Director of Middle School Admission and Spanish Language Liaison and is excited to leverage his language fluency, community engagement, and digital media skills to introduce new families to CA. 

Liz Robinson ’01 attended CA for Grades 9-12. She attended the University of Pennsylvania for bioengineering and then Columbia University for medical school. She always planned to come back to Colorado and finally moved back a couple of years ago with her husband, Alex, and children, Maddie (6) and Henry (3). She works as a dermatologist and clinical researcher at Colorado Dermatology Specialists, and in health policy and patient advocacy through the American Academy of Dermatology. 

Murphy Robinson ’06 is President and CEO of Robinson Corporations Security Group, which includes: Seca Secure, a commercial electronic security and alarm company; CLOQ, an executive protection firm; and Safe Mail Colorado, a professional mail safety screening company. Murphy’s past roles include City and County of Denver COO; Deputy Mayor and Executive Director of the Denver Department of Public Safety (Police, Fire & Sheriff’s Departments); Executive Director of the General Services Department; Chief of Staff/Deputy City Manager for the City of Englewood; and Assistant City Manager of General Services for the City of Brighton. Murphy has a bachelor’s degree from Xavier University and a master’s degree in Public Policy and Politics from the University of Colorado Denver. He was also a proud recipient of 40 Under 40 recognition of the Denver Business Journal in 2021 and a 2022 recipient of the Magis Award, one of the highest honors presented to alumni by Xavier University. A Denver native, Murphy enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter and is active in multiple community boards, including the I Luv You Guys Foundation, Restoration Ranch Foundation Board, and the Denver Police Foundation.

Dan Roller ’99 attended CA for Grades 2-12, where he went to Scotland in the Fifth Grade; performed in circuses and musicals; climbed, cycled, and camped during Interims; developed a love for math and science; learned enough Spanish to support study-abroad stints in Mexico and Spain; made many lifelong friends; played Tennis and Soccer (and plenty of foursquare); and even started and captained a whitewater Kayaking team. After CA, he studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Duke University and lived and worked in New York City for over a decade, before moving back to Colorado in 2015. He is the founder of Maran Capital Management, a boutique investment firm based in Denver. Dan resides in Englewood with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs. Dan has competed in CA’s Giant Relay as a student and as an alumnus; in the coming years he may compete as a parent, as his daughters now attend the school.

Evan Simmons ’06 is a proud CA Alum, attending CA from Grades 8-12.  After his time at CA, Evan attended The University of Houston, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish. After graduation, Evan spent a decade working in a multitude of roles with the Sherwin Williams Paint Company. In 2019, Evan left Sherwin Williams and started his work as an entrepreneur, founding Panoramic Pro Painting, an interior and exterior painting company that specializes in both residential and commercial painting projects here in the Denver Metro area. Evan currently lives in Aurora with his wife, Gisa, and four-year-old daughter, Taylor.

David Spatt ’07 attended CA from Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade. After earning his bachelor’s degree from Colorado College, he joined Teach For America, teaching middle school math in Nashville, Tenn. Missing the mountains, David moved back to Colorado to attend graduate school at the University of Colorado, earning his MBA in Healthcare Administration. A post-graduate opportunity moved him again to Ann Arbor, Mich. (Go Blue!), where he spent five years before the opportunity to return home to Denver arose in 2021. David now works at Children’s Hospital Colorado, serving as a Director. He lives in Denver with his wife, Amanda, their cat, Lincoln, and newly adopted golden retriever puppy, Goose! In his free time, he enjoys golfing, skiing, and fly fishing.

Megan Young ’97 attended CA K-12. She was a 12-season athlete, enjoyed choir, and loved outdoor adventures for Interim. After CA, Megan attended CU-Boulder as part of the Presidents Leadership Class. She graduated with degrees in Business-Marketing and Spanish for the Professions. Megan began her career at Procter & Gamble in marketing and sales. She currently works at Boom Supersonic, designing the passenger experience for supersonic jets and working with airline partners to ensure it is an economically viable product. Megan and her husband have two boys in CA Lower School. They love traveling together and exploring the outdoors.

Honorary Board Member Gordon Smith ’79 serves as an emeritus member of the Alumni Board. He graduated from Colgate University, majoring in Economics and Psychology. He then obtained his MBA from CU Denver in 1989. Gordon began in the family horse business and then moved into financial services. He finally found his passion when entering the fundraising business in 1995 with National Jewish Health, specializing in planned giving. Still with National Jewish, he is now the Associate Vice President of Development, Planned Giving. He travels the country meeting with dedicated donors to discuss creative, non-cash opportunities to support the hospital. He also speaks nationally on gift planning. Gordon spends his spare time skiing, biking, playing tennis, and competing in triathlons and such.
