Red, white, and black balloons marked the spot for the Colorado Academy Parent Association Get INvolved event in the Maloy Courtyard outside Welborn House on the first day of school.
A large number of parents dropped off students at class and then made a beeline for the fair to volunteer for a variety of programs including Horizons at CA, the Grocery Certificate Program, Arts Around, the All-School Arts Festival, the Used Book Sale, and the Mustang Spirit Club.
Chaired by Meaghan Rubey, the well-attended event demonstrated that CA parents believe in the power of community and the importance of getting “INvolved.”
